Security Professional Requirements

As a Security Professional at Transcend Security, your role is critical to maintaining safe, welcoming environments for our clients’ employees, residents, and visitors. To qualify, you’ll need:

An active Arizona Unarmed Guard Card

High school diploma or GED

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

Ability to pass a background check.

We'll handle the training. You bring the dedication.

As an unarmed Security Professional with Transcend Security Solutions, your role is critical to maintaining safe, welcoming environments for our clients’ employees, residents, customers, and visitors. You'll be responsible for:

Maintaining a visible presence to deter unwanted activity.

Monitoring access points, patrol properties, and following site-specific post orders.

Documenting incidents clearly and accurately.

Communicating with clients, residents, and tenants in a professional manner.

Responding calmly and appropriately to emergency situations as needed.

What I-9 documentation does Transcend Security require?
You can find a full list of acceptable documents on the Form I-9 Instructions here: Form I-9 Acceptable Documents. If you have any questions about which documents to bring, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask!
Do I need to have prior security experience to apply for a position?
Absolutely not! Many of our security professionals started with little to no experience and are still with us to this day. Our Field Supervisors provide full training and check-ins to make sure you're comfortable with your security position.
What should I expect during the hiring process?
After you apply online, qualified candidates may receive a phone screen followed by an in‑person or virtual interview. If selected, you’ll complete background screening, paperwork, and onboarding before being assigned to a site.
